Host A Fundraiser
Many of our supporters who can’t volunteer regularly contribute by hosting simple fundraisers on our behalf.
If you have an idea, please email details and any invitations/promotional materials you would like to use to info@pawsomesquad.org so we can work together! We’d be happy to promote your event on our social media channels. Check out the examples at the bottom from previous supporter-run fundraisers to get your creative ideas flowing.
Shave Your Beard
…or cut your hair, dye your eyebrows, the sky’s the limit! One of our amazing former foster parents recently put out the word that he’d shave his beard live if he raised $5K for us… and he raised $13K. The big event was quite a show.
Yappy Hour
Get an awesome bar/restaurant to donate $2 per dish or drink ordered
Woof Walk
Have your friends bring their dogs for a group stroll to raise awareness about rescue! Each participant collects sponsorship donations in advance.
Donate Your Birthday
Ask guests to bring or make a donation (money or material) for our rescues in place of gifts.
Donate Your Adoptaversary
Host an adoptaversary or birthday party for your own cat or dog and ask guests to bring or make a donation (money or material) for our rescues in place of gifts.
Donate Your Wedding
Ask guests to bring or make a donation (money or material) for our rescues in place of gifts. Many of our adopters have gone this route! Don’t forget to send us pics of your four legged flower girl/boy.
Host a Donation Drive
Collect material or money donations for our rescues. Set up a box or envelope in your office, community center, gym, etc.
Other ideas
Tea party, picnic, run for rescue, ride for rescue (bikes!), dinner party, movie night…
Please note: While we are extremely grateful for the support, we cannot usually provide animals or volunteers for supporter hosted fundraisers, but we’ll do our best if you make requests.
